Posted by Katrina Vuong on 21 April 2017 08:33 AM
LabArchives gives owners the option to rearrange entries on a page. The owner of the notebook can choose how they want to rearrange their page by clicking on the vertical ellipsis (to the right of the Page Tools options), and hover over “Re-arrange” that will show all the options (listed below).

Important Note: This option is not a simple sort, but a complete re-organization of the page based on the date selection and cannot be reverted. Other users who have access to the page will see the newly arranged page.

There are four options that the owner can re-arrange entries on a page. The options are:

Re-arrange by Created Date, Newest to Oldest: You can rearrange a page to see the most recent created entry at the top of the page.

Re-arrange by Created Date, Oldest to Newest: You can rearrange a page to see the most recent created entry at the bottom of the page.

Re-arrange by Updated Date, Newest to Oldest: You can rearrange a page to see the most updated entry at the top of the page.

Re-arrange by Updated Date, Oldest to Newest: You can rearrange a page to see the most updated entry at the bottom of the page.

Once you select a rearrange option, a warning message will appear.

Special Notes:

  • You cannot revert the page order from the page revision history, but you can use the arrows on the edit entry toolbars to reorganize your entries to your desired place.
  •  This is best for pages that have not been formatted using Headings
  • This feature is not available for Master Course Notebooks or Student Notebooks.
