Import Tool Available for Databases and Freezerbox 
LabArchives® released a data importation tool with the ability to import a CSV file to create either a Database or Freezerbox Widget and populate it with your existing data, all in one process.
  • Saves time in transitioning your existing databases and freezer boxes data into LabArchives notebooks. 
  • Quickly create an empty, custom database or freezer box widget for future use.
  • Once added, this new widget form can be used throughout the notebook.
  • Define import field details and controls using column headers.

Mobile Apps Receive Session and Login Upgrade
Both LabArchives Apps (iOS and Android) are receiving an upgrade this month, with the following enhancements: 
  • The mobile user session time out period can be specified by institutions' Administrators.
  • It's now easier to login with Single Sign-On (institutional Shibboleth) with the login process mirroring the web app login process.

Microsoft Office Plug-in
When installed, new choices will be added to the File Menu in the Office suite of products. You will be able to:
  • Open Office files (including searching) from your LabArchives Notebooks
  • Save new Office files to your LabArchives Notebooks
  • Modify existing files from your LabArchives Notebooks, including maintaining all versions in your Notebook.
When installed Folder Monitor operates as a desktop utility for Windows and Mac that automatically transfers files from your PC into LabArchives.
